Ok so i listened to some of your stuff on bandcamp too. ima try my best to give u some advice but if the coat doesn't fit, don't stretch the seams because it would do a good service to whom it fits.

Imo the utility function that reviews serve is nonexistent because of intentional fallacy, that is the possibility of some nuance in the produced art that the artist did not intend.
as rainer rilke says:

Composers should look within themselves when deciding which sounds to use and throw out even if they come by them by accident.

I have talked to numerous people that make a living as djs or producers and the majority of them make their living by spending 10's of thousands of dollars on pr services for their events and music, sometimes they even spend upwards of this amount in a single day! When these types of transactions occur there is a tendency to only promote music that 1. fits in the promotional channel, and 2. that is proven to attract a crowd (no matter how musically uneducated the concert goers are). in order to meet these criteria i've seen many young aspiring artists artificially shape their compositions in order to please. There are hundreds of tutorials on youtube on how to get "that" snare sound or "this" bass tone and how to "properly" mixdown a track. Why should people be made to use these things when expressing something inside themselves. as if you need a -how to- express yourself. many rock bands decide their career by how they look and what they wear, not how their music sounds for example. I think this want to become famous and successful is perfectly natural, but its not so good when these enterprises intrude on the freedoms of artists that are having no part in this.
people are blinded by the commercial success of popular music, and even if the music fits a seemingly exclusive niche most of it is a stylized rip off. as history has shown, there have been sensitive people that are able to say something much different than artists around them like Beethoven and John Coltrane. They were never popular in their times but their music went on to shape music as we know it today as more people woke up to what ever they were saying. the "dynamics" they used were adopted after their lifetime as if to resound their accomplishment of the discovery of these things. but the commercially successful wont have this affect, they will just have the things their money allowed them to acquire.

You just copy pasted some random article you found on the internet to try to prove some point or to seem intelligent.
The gist of this wall of texst is that most money of the music industry goes in to marketing and you can´t put music in to words.
Now I don´t know that can tell this isn´t a major marketing company.
Exactly 0 $/€´s went in to marketing.
And yes, nobody can put a song or album in words.
Everybody experiences a song in a different way.
So its better to just listen to music you love.
Sometimes you can´t find a single flaw in a song but you still think its a bad song.
And this track wasn´t made with youtube tutorials.
This was a random thing that I felt doing.
You didn´t try to pick apart the song.
You just copy pasted something that has nothing to do with the song.

I made it to be a laid back experimental track.
I wanted the bass to have a weird wet flow.

But I don't agree with most of the points you made.
I agree that the rhythm is uninspired.
The rhythm took a backseat to the sound design.
But if I would add some "drama and tension" it would ruin the song.
And if you want you could remix this track.
I would like to hear your take on the song.

Whats wrong with that? First time hearing someone saying that my music is "normal" but I guess interesting way to look at it? Most people say "Soothing, Relaxing," etc. Thank you for the response though as much as I disagree xD
